PRODUCTION PROGRAMME

Natural high purity sands from Sklopisek Střeleč are basic raw materials for production of crystal, container and flat glass and glass fibres. The chemical purity and favourable particle size distribution of the sand is appreciated in other industrial sectors such as the electrical, rubber, construction industries, in water treatment and in the building industry. Important use is also in the production of garden substrates, construction and maintenance of sport surfaces, football pitches and golf courses and turf maintenance. The sands are being sold wet or dried, in bulk or in bags, transported on trucks or wagons.

All produced sands meet hygienic limits for outside sandpits and playing fields according to the relevant Czech legislation. Siliceous clays are suitable for use in ceramics production as a complement to highly plastic clays and kaolins (sanitary ceramics, stoneware, electrical porcelain), as an effective component in cements production, as an opening material with excellent granulometry (no milling needed), as an inexpensive raw material for tiles production, an aggregate to rubber, plastics mastics, for cellular concrete, bricks and shaped bricks, in agriculture and also as an ecological filling and sealing material. The siliceous clays are being sold wet, in bulk, transported on trucks.
